About Alexandra (“Lexi”) K. Stange

As a child of divorce, Lexi understands the stress and confusion that families encounter when going through the divorce process. Lexi strives to help each client navigate the complicated legal system and leverages her ability to diffuse highly emotional personalities to make this process as smooth as it possibly can be.

Lexi focuses her practice on all family law matters including divorce, allocation of parental responsibilities and parenting time, paternity, and child support. Lexi also has experience in the preparation of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.

Before attending law school, Lexi received her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at the University of Missouri. During this time, Lexi discovered her passion for family law while working part-time as a preschool teacher where she found herself guiding children who were impacted by divorce and other family-related issues. As an English major, Lexi continues to use her strong persuasive writing skills and attention to detail in her work as an attorney. During her law school education at DePaul University, Lexi tailored her studies to the area of family law, focusing on classes surrounding alternative dispute resolution, trial advocacy, and family law writing.

Prior to her employment with Beermann LLP, Lexi worked at another large family law firm in Chicago where she gained experience in complex family law matters, often involving complicated financial issues. Continuing her passion for family law, Lexi joined Beermann LLP as a law clerk and carried on as an Associate after her admission to the Illinois Bar.
