About Tayler A. Gutierrez
Tayler A. Gutierrez focuses her practice on complex family law matters. Ms. Gutierrez counsels clients on all aspects of dissolution of marriage proceedings and paternity proceedings including, but not limited to, maintenance, division of property, allocation of parental responsibilities and parenting time, complex financial issues, child support, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and post-divorce issues.
Ms. Gutierrez is extremely attentive to detail and prides herself in working tirelessly for her clients to ensure their personal goals are prioritized. Acknowledging the importance of tailoring each approach to the individual family, Ms. Gutierrez strives to provide clients with creative solutions for their modern-day family law needs.
Ms. Gutierrez attended Indiana University Bloomington and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. After graduating, Ms. Gutierrez attended DePaul University College of Law where she made the Dean’s List and was the recipient of two CALI Excellence Awards in family law drafting and advanced civil procedure, which is the award designated for the highest academic achiever in a given law course. In addition to graduating with her law degree, Ms. Gutierrez also earned a certificate in family law. Prior to her admission to the Illinois bar, Ms. Gutierrez began her career as a law clerk at Beermann LLP and continued on as an associate attorney. Ms. Gutierrez’s background in psychology and emphasis on finding creative solutions for her clients assist her in providing the best possible representation for modern families.
